Zoloft and ADHD meds?

I'm currently taking 100 milligrams of Zoloft because my emotional instability makes it difficult for me to function. I really want to add ADHD mess to my regimen, but my psychiatrist says they don't mix well. I struggle with impulse control and am concerned that no amount of "discipline" will help.

I was on this combo, it’s fine, there’s a risk of Serotonin syndrome but very very unlikely!

Maybe there’s other meds you can take with the Zoloft that would help. I don’t like the typical adhd meds (stimulants) like Adderall, it made me super anxious and depressed. I take Wellbutrin for my adhd, it’s an anti-depressant that can help with ADHD.
